Member Comments: The guy showed up early and the prices were reasonable. The quality was really really good and the report was written well and was very thorough. They also did a special infrared inspection of my insulation. I think the standard rate without that is $500.

Description Of Work: Sam (and his affiliated pool, insect, and thermography people) inspected two houses for us. The first was a large two-story in west Houston built around 1979. It looked great on the surface, but Sam was able to show us how much really needed to be repaired and replaced that we were able to cancel the contract and avoided a potential "money pit". The second home (that we did buy) was also large, but newer (2001). Sam did find some shortcomings, but nothing major. He spent a lengthy time performing his inspections and encouraged us to follow him around, ask questions. He was polite and answered what I'm sure were stupid questions and was a thorough professional. His reports were extremely comprehensive with embedded digital pictures documenting problems or potential problems. He even followed up with phone calls to make sure we were satisfied and to see if we had any additional questions!
Member Comments: VERY well! Sam's thoroughness kept us from making a big mistake with the first house and gave us confidence that there were no serious problems with the house we purchased. He also taught us what to look for and allowed us to make better judgments on other houses we looked at. The whole experience was handled as professionally as possible. Sam was prompt in arriving, well dressed and conscious of keeping the property clean. He was patient and encouraged both us and our Realtor to ask questions and be sure we were fully informed and aware. He, and all the affiliates he recommended, provided accurate and complete documentation of their inspections. Many people I work with had used him and everyone was beyond satisfied. Concerns? Description Of Work: Samuel performed a thorough home inspection at my current residence. He checked wiring, heating and a/c, roofing, insulation, walls, breaker boxes, floors, foundation, exterior of the home and he also inspected for termites. He gave me a very thorough report.
Member Comments: Samuel answered my call quickly and followed up with an estimate to inspect my home. His prices were quite good and he told me everything he would inspect for, and would give me a written report. The inspection was scheduled as soon as an appointment was set, and Samuel was right on time. As he was inspecting different parts of the house, he gave me advice. He did find termites, but everything else checked out good. Samuel did an amazing job and was the most through home inspector I've ever known. Concerns? Please tell us!
